I dont suppose you know the compression ratio of any of those pistons?
I've been thinking about trying to source some 8.9:1's so that when it's off boost it behaves a bit more like a 4age and a bit less like a 4kc

myne - the two sets of pistons that i have are both out of AE92 late model MAP sensored 4A-GZE's. The compression ratio's are 8.9:1 of these engines. Let me know if you are interested.

hey Im interested in a set of pistons. (4AGZE). BUT I have conditions. firstly I would like you to take them to a reputable engine rebuilding workshop and ask the guy to check if they are within the right tolerance, he will look in his ACL book and measure them. Please ask him the write down his measurements and a breif statement to verify they are within tolerance.
REASON: if they have had a hard life they will have shruck and will not seal properly.
Also I would like some good photos so that I know that there arent huge scratches and scores on them. with photos I will be able to identify the type of GZE pistons. Im after 8.9:1 like you have stated they are.
only under these conditions I will purchase.
BTW I have some 20valve pistons if you are interested.
Sorry to be a NAZI but I very uncomfortable buying internals second hand.
