RA60 struts on my car now!! Handling is way better but it scrubs on the outsides a bit while cornering. Gonna roll the guards and do a little massaging with a wooden mallet to fix-er-up!

All good fun in car modding I say! Of course, I could probably just get slightly higher and stiffer springs....

Thanks Tooch!

But someone already put a bid on it and may go through the roof in bids so Evil_Feotus, if you put the replicas up on ebay you may find other buyers intersted buyers as you are selling the lot not just the 2.8i...

it's also for the MA61 as decribed in the EPC.
EPC

MA61 Gray, Trim 2 - Stripe, rear body back LH - 8112 - 8308

Which means for those that have 8B4 the last suffix has to be 75997-14090-13 not 03 (which is gray)

yeah, i doubt i could get $60 though for my sticker sets (which are being made up as we speak) on ebay, so i probably won't....

if anyone would like replica stickers, pm me. they are *almost* exactly the same as originals. size wise, they are perfect.

I noticed someone in a supra left in a small cloud of smoke, not a good thing to do mate . If your going to do it keep it away from where we want to meet up

Pie wrote on 16 October 2005 14:44

Yes Demon, an old supra, as someone that gets interviews on TV to support car enthusiasts wish to be left alone by police, I thought it was rather hypocritical of that person.

Not too sure when im getting the car painted.

MK2 garage. I should've paid you a visit today cuss i was in luanny after the V8's checking out dingalings 7M motor. Anyways to the point i'd reccomend finding some RA65 struts and powersteering arms to put in your car if its drift orientated. You'll notice a big improvement.

New Zealand MA63 over here.... 2L Factory Turbo.

Needs a bit of bodywork (currently has the whole front end off it) but will go nicely once on the road again.

I nearly did it all myself, the only part i couldn't do was getting the steering arms reamed out to fit the supra ball joints. I had to get an engineer to do that part but only cost $40 anyways so i was happy. After that everything bolts on. Just remember to swap your supra shocks, springs and top hats over onto the RA65 struts. And also check your rotors, hubs/bearings, and ball joints while your at it. Its just a matter of taking out your MA61 struts and swapping the gear over to the RA65 struts and bolting the RA65 steering arms on then putting the RA65 struts in. After doing that you might find you have to adjust the tie rods? on the steering rack to adjust toe. Good idea to get a wheel allignment afterwards aswell.
