Just picked up my galant vr4 cooler which i found on ebay very cheap. The core measures 420x210x65mm. I've searched and noticed a few people have these on their gze/gte's.

Can anyone offer their opinions / experiences with fitting this size cooler to the front of a corolla? I'm looking to hack the front bar as little as possible.

I've had a look and seems as though the oil cooler and air con will need to be removed - but neither are connected anyway. Also looks as if the metal under the bonnet latch will need to be modified.

Pics of any examples would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

This should help - http://lionslair.net.au/wagonboy/FMIC/

Had no problems with idle or anything once it was fitted, just that the piping can be a little tight fitting . .

Thanks heaps for that mate. That was exactly the kind of detail I was looking for.

I appreciate the effort. Cheers.
