GOLD VOLK TE37 4 X 114.3 *RARE* FREEEEEEEEEE Mon, 26 September 2005 00:24 Go to next message
i got a set of 4 genuine volk racing rims for sale

rare gold colour
4 x 114.3 stud pattern
15x7 (from memory)
cant remember offset but i think its +35 or there bouts

these rims are light as
one has gutter damage as shown in the pics
quoted between $100-$150 to repair it from various wheel shops

these are genuine volks....not the ravs engineering vorks that are commonly seen around

just jap have a set of white ones for $1500
so i'll put these up for $1100 coz of the gutter damage

hey mate, they are rays wheels, if there not id be worried, u obviously dont know, but Volk racing wheels are just one label Rays Engineering uses to sell a specific market of wheels.

so u might wanna edit the post.

Should be fairly easy to findout the offset.
There is usually a white sticker on the inside stating all the information.

I think you have misunderstood what 'exquisit' is trying to say.
They are genuine (RAYS) volks (TE37's), though he has only refered to them as Volk's.... You may not realise there are copys in aussie rims stores that look some what alike but are easily identifiable as fakes by there weight and there labeling of "RAVS ENGINEERING" "VORKS" which 'exquisit' has pointed out. ("....not the ravs engineering vorks that are commonly seen around." *THAT ISN'T A MISPRINT IN SPELLING* He is correct in what he has said.

'exquisit' isn't refering to 'Rays Engineering' as gay heavy knockoffs. He's refering to the "ravs engineering vorks that are commonly seen around" As the gay heavy knockoffs which they are if you have seen them.

just for the sake of interest
its not so hard to get spacers made up
even tho from memory the offset is over 20, a spacer is a cheaper alternative than spending big bucks on the perfect offset
i run 35mm bolt on spacers with no worries at all

just a thought
cheers

Even so, i'd still like to know the actual offset of the rims. Spacers can only go so far. Smile

Edit: not a fan of spacers. Confused

Ok just looking at the pics, the wheels seem rather high offset, i would say +30 at least if not more.

I guess you could try fitting them on a sprinter and taking a pic, but you would definately need to run spacers with these wheels on a sprinter.

gl with sale Smile

Im not exactly a fan of spacers too....
And I can see what you mean Arch. The offset does seem to be... almost fwd offset, the spokes tend to curve in a lil on Katsuhiro's TE37's.

From the website, the best offset available in 15" TE37's are +15. Either way if you want wide track, you'd run spacers with them.

15x8" with a +15 would be wicked.

^^ yeah would look good if these wheels had anything like the offset on the above pictured sprinter which is more tha n likely anywhere from 0 to +15, rims for sale are +40 offset so mainly FWD cars only they look nothing like the above rims apart from general make style

+40! Laughing Laters to seeing those on a 86.

And the TE37's on the Black D1 car above are 14's. Hence the amount of 'bendage' in the spokes.

The car below is the same one, just the updated version.
Changed the kit and up-sized to 15" TE37.

Justin...

+35 offset, 6.5 inch I am guessing? Do you need spacers? What size. Mind uploading a pic. Didnt think you could use offset that big.
Mite help this sale along bit more as well I'd say.

exquisit, if you can borrow a local ae86 and trial fit them for a pic on an angle showing how it fills out the guards without spacers and if it rubs, would help as well I say.
Very nice price though...
bump.

Seeriously I think 9500 is not too bad for the hard tuned 4AGE....
Coz I just got myself into a AE86 recently from a R33...I have also bought a hard tunned by TODA 4AGE (Not 20valve) from Japan to come with the car....

I paid around 170000yen for the car with a normal engine plus another 300000yen for that engine..

as wat I understand from the Spec sheet, it have
TODA 286 in/ex Cams
TODA Cams Pully
TODA Crank
TODA Piston
TODA Valva and valve spring
TODA 4 BODY THROTTLE
SARD Fuel Regulator
HKS Fuel Rail

but I think for this kind of money, you will probably get more then 120kw easy....
All I want to say is his engine need a better tune or better ECU Managment....I personal suggest either the new version of HKS F-con V pro 3.2 or for something cheaper
One I am using now, is from AUTO Garage LOFT...this ECU is specially designed for 4AGE with 4 throttle
