3T GTE problem Tue, 15 November 2005 03:47 Go to next message
Hey guys got a problem with my 3T im trying to sort out.
Was driving the other day then all of a sudden lost all power, can wont rev over 2Gs.

Threw it on a tilt tray, got it home and started playing but having bit of trouble.

When the car revs to 2G it leans out and splutters, thought this would be a fuel problem but fuel pressure checked OK, if i open the gate on the AFM with a screw driver etc, when reving it will rev over 2G. Now trying to test the AFM but i cant find any manuals etc on resistances, was also wanting to test resistance on coolant sensor.

Also getting the injectors cleaned as i have pulled them out.

The lack of spares is also making it abit hard to troubleshoot.

Anyway was wondering if any one has some info or has seen a similar issue or advice.

Thanks

Where abouts is the boost sensor? I was under the assumption that the 3TGTE didnt have 1, as i thought this could have been a possibilty?

Thanks
