I am trying to help a mate fix up the wiring in his recently purchased ae82 with map ae92 gze.
Whoever did the conversion was drunk or something, they have left the old 4age loom in place, and put the 4agze loom in as well. So the car has 2 fuse boxes and a heap of unused wires and plugs.
-I was wondering can i remove the old ge loom completely, or is there things i still need for stuff to work.
-There is a bunch of plugs behind the passenger kick panel, what are these for?
-What fuse box am i supposed to use, and should all the plugs on the ze loom plug straight in?
Thanks for your help, as i am not familiar with the ae82's
Any help appreciated.

if you are asking these questions... i wouldn't be fixing his wiring.
i just fixed up the same thing in an AE82.... and i would say what you do depends entirely upon what's already been done.
just rip it all out and start again.

Thanks for that.
I have wired up a ze before but it was in an ae92.
I am planning on starting again, but just need help with the fuse box issue really.
What needs cutting/splicing?
Thanks Witzl

well it depends.... if you want to make it "easy" on yourself... run the GZE engine off the AE82 4AGE fuse box
i went silly and used the 4agze fuse box, which means i had to rewire headlights, horn, EVREYTHING!!
i was bored
