why is the vacuum switch valve connected to the vacuum manifold?
cos....
it's.....

so when the cars making vacuum the valves open when the cars make in boost the valves closed (of the other way round who knows)so does this mean the waters flowing under one condition and not the other, does the heater only work when your not making boost...????"

The heater VSV is connected to a vacuum port, which is located close to the throttle butterfly. Even under full boost, the venturi effect at the port will create a vacuum in that line.

so whats does it do though - whyu is their a valve their in the first place and how is it connected to increase temp inside the car

because the relay that controls the vacuum solenoid that controls the VSV is driven by the climate control electronics - when you want hot, it opens up the solenoid (which opens up the VSV), when you want cold it doesn't.
why are you asking about the VSV?
