On a nother note anyone know how much it will cost to get a black barina resprayed in the same black?

I've used turtle's, maguires and various other car wash brands to clean the car and never had a problem with residue/swirls being left the key is a good chammois and getting the water off asap.

a lot of people put off waxing and polishing after washing their car, and the result is dust, and a fine layer of dirt settling on the paint. When you get around to polishing you actually end grinding these little bits of dirt and dust into the paint. Hence the swirlies.
Its almost impossible to avoid altogether with black paint due to its refractive properties, but a silicone polish like glide on glaze might be the go.

I wash with maguires tech wash, works a treat.
The swirl marks are definately mostly from the buffer, don't let anyone touch your car with a buffer!
Maguires Tech Wax works really well on black cars too... doesn't leave as much wax residue and dust as others I've used.

good tip is to use a woolen mit
and to polish a micro fibre cloth
