1. Get springs reset
2. Use lowering blocks
3. Find springs that are shagged and naturally give the car the lowered look Razz

There's three options...

let me get this straight, you are putting your leaves in upside down so it jams the diff hard up against the bump stops?

i have never heard of doing this, but it sounds dodgier than chopping coil springs in half.

just take out half of your leaves, or all but the big one.

or as mr shin smartly suggests, use lowering blocks. dont make them out of wood and make sure you paint them black and rub dort into them to make them inconspicuous.

if the diff is already at the bumpstops, then you don't need suspension, it will not do anything.. just get some square steel tube and use that to mount the diff housing onto...

you feckin tool.. just go and get your leaves reset.. don't be such a dangerous wanker

options 1 and 3 are good Wink

remember that if you take the leaves past flat, it will be FUCKED..

what you should do is get the leaves reset, it is not that expensive.
if it is too expensive, then you should not be driving a car.

Stupid, stupid me. I forgot the easiest option of them all... Fill the boot with building rubble/cement/scrap metal/the fattest guy you can find at the local take away.

Soooo much quicker and easier Razz

why not undo the pack, and flip one or two, and see what effect that has? trial and error should net some good results. add one or two to make it stiffer.
