OMFG @ Phisics for that F1 game and the Rally one !!!!
the rest of the games which they showed were just azn crap robot/dragon games , but from the car ones i saw PS3 looks like a definate buy for me
oh and Tekken will be SICKKKK!!

question still remains how much of that was pre-rendered and how much was real-time 
i'll still be getting one regardless of the sony hype-mania
incidently the xbox 360 was released in the us today... anyone got any thoughts on this being so much earlier than the ps3/revolution?

I will never buy an xbox, mainly because the controller is designed around the windows logo.
dont beleive me?! look at the buttons, they're a f*cking windows symbol.
its not enough advertising to be actually playing the damn thing that they have to resort to subliminal tactics...

no its not cos the y button which is yellow is up the top and the a button which is green is down the bottom. WHo gives a fuck anyway i didn't even think of it or taken notice of it till you said.

none of the processing specs i have seen actually have the same sets of specs for both machines. not only are ps2 games going to be able to be 5 times as big, but ps2 will be able to double as a blue ray movie player (which attmittedly doesnt benefit anyone at the moment). im not saying the 360 is shit. but in my opinion it was a pretty stupid move not to go with blue ray

ps3 will boom in sale once blueray hits the PC and have blueray burners oh the black market

are you sure? i think this is wrong. blue ray has higher resolution than a red laser, but still works in the same way. i'm fairly sure it will be backwards compatible.
yeah sorry rthy i meant ps3.
and even if they are 23.5 gig dvds for the 360, thats still way less than a ps3 and cant play blue ray movies.
but the most important factor of all:
ps3 will have gt5!!!!!!!!
woot!!!!!!!!!!
lets see, if they can fit 700 cars onto an 8 gig or so disk for gt4, then gt5 should be able to have at least 4,000 on a 50 gig

No my comment was aimed at the blue ray discs saying are they 23/5 gig, i did a search the single layer blue ray discs are 25gig, dual layer ones will be 50gig (derr).
Wow 4000 cars fucking whoosh shame out of the 700 cars in GT4 there was probably actually only 200-300 cars the rest just being duplicates ie mines/nismo/etc edition skylines.

Tech Pacific / Ingram Micro already have Sony Bluray recorders listed on their website with only a 1-2 day leadtime... unfortunately though they don't list any bluray media

i reckon most of that movie is pre rendered and are actually the videos in the games and not real time playing, but i would still think the game play would be very close.
I think its funny the xbox looks like windows, but like Corona RT142 said, no one really noticed till you mentioned it midnight.
On the point of Blue Ray i thought that it was still very experimental, meaning it could take the path of mini disk and not really become popular, although i guess it playstation takes it up it will become popular
