no, im calling you the drift ricer

not garth

drift ricer: he who modify's car with items such as drift suspension, 2 way LSD, gutted interior, rollcage, extreme bracing, only to have his car never see the track and have it sit in his garage only to come out for the odd "cruise/show"

Garths 86 deserves to be on the track, not cutting laps...and thankfully when he gets a free moment, it does Smile

guys, does it really matter. Buddy dont worry your head about my trueno getting smashed, when i do take it to the track, im not one to push it past my limits in a bad situation.

My car rarely gets a wash these days.. let alone to the track or 'laps' ROFL

laps are for those who have time to sit in traffic, not me sir, working my ass off. Sad

I like the lighting effect you acheived in the pics.
I think if u find sumwhere in the city with heaps of lights like darling harbour, all lit up, pics should turn out awesum.

if you work full time and are sensible with your money, a car like this can definitely be urs!!!

Hard to do when you own a home. But I have a good job that pays very well and soon I too will have a AE86 that is good enought to grace the owner's rides forum.. Up To Something

But I am for now jealous of you beautiful beast that you created. Keep up the great work. Grin

AHAHAHA nice ikon... but no

school formal eh?
i do warn you, its far from confortable
but your date may enjoy the vibrations in the back seat

on another note

the adelaide clutches X-Treme(ly shit) clutch kit i had gave way on monday after only 15000 km's of abuse.. WEAKKKKKSAUCEEEEE

so picking up an jap Exedy Racing "full face sports organic" kit today.. just in time for melb, was gunna go the racing ceramic button but i need to drive this every day... plus its nicer on the more expensive LSD

any recommendations on a flywheel? looking around 4Kg mark.

also on the cards is a 16v 4 throttle conversion kit and a new body kit.
hopefully all to be done before melbourne.

Garth, I use a 3.7kg flywheel with the same clutch. I got it through Toby Hunt, its very similar to a toda item if not the same.
I am very happy with it.

Also I have already got almost 5000 km's of usage out of my Exedy organic clutch, with no slipping yet. BTW, that 5000 km's has all been thrashing/trackwork and alot of clutch kicking..
