Ok,
Just a quick question.
How do you transfer songs from an mp3 to itunes. Yes i know how to do this, but when i take the cd out it screws up.
I want to be able to import the tracks to itunes, and play them without having the cd in the driver.
Are there any other alternatives to just copying them from the hard drive?

you configure iTunes to copy them.
On a mac (iTUne version 6) its:
preferences
advanced panel
enable 'Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library'
you should also change the import settings from the default (MP3 128K to ACC 128k or better) so you get less audio compression artifacts from the encoder.

for the amount the biggie size Ipod costs - id get a PSP with the recordable disc and do it that way , then you have the advantage of copying your fav TV shows/ Cartoons aswell to it , and watching them whilst on the train .
because i mean there would be no other reason to get a portable device now there is MP3 Decks for your toyota

i have a sony 20gig "mp3 player". but i recon i river is the best.
only because you dont need to convert ur mp3 to be able tp play them like the sony. fuckers, it wont play mp3s so how can u brand it an mp3 player. the only reason i baught it is cos its smaller then the ipod and has a 30 hour battery life.
