As you can see from the prices on this, this car has hurt my back pocket. I have poured my heart and soul into it but i have other commitments which i now must sell this to complete. I'm selling for a number of reasons, how ever the main one being i am leaving to go to overseas at the middle of next year so i will have no purpose for it. I am also moving to inner city so the purpose of owning it is lessened.

So how much for everyting on the menu?

i want $9500 as is...

if you think its unfair... good for you, no one cares. I've totaled the parts alone and they value more than that, if i havn't sold it by next year, i will sell the parts and get that $13600. this is just an EOI and if no one is interested in it, then so be it... but this car comes with EVERYTHING you'll ever need for an ae86... if your prepaired to spend another $1000-2000 on it... you wil have one of the best 86's in the country...

where in japan u going? Im heading over in late march to april, but i would like to buy something a little more expensive over there seeing the prices are so dam low compared to here due to there strict registration laws.

Buying and owning a car in japan is a bitch, so much paper work and you will have to prove that u have a parking spot for the car before u make a purchase.

Sorry getting a bit off topic, great looking car, looks real tough!

i don't mind going off topic, as long as its not talking about takumi taxes

I'm not to sure where i'm going, i want to stay off the beaten track but i still want to experience the culture of japan... Nagasaki or Fukuoka on kyushu sound to more liking. But i would like to check out tokyo and yokohama sometimes... so a city like ikawa or koriyama. I can't deciede... evne kobe and sapparo sound like good options. I'm well aware of the legalities of owning a car in japan and it ain't easy but nothin gin life ever is

Hey yeah i wana stay off the beaten track but i wana have fun also. Its alot cheaper to own a car also, outside of the major cities. Im just gona go over and teach english.

My family live in tokyo so i wouldnt mind being a little further away from them.

Dont get an ae86, get a car that will be worth a mint when u bring it back = investment Very Happy Like a porsche 911 Very Happy

How about a mazda FD as a personal import, say a 95 model for about 10kish.
bring it back here and make a sweet 15k profit.

then buy a kick arse ae86 from J-spec... (which you've already sussed out being in japan)..

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the props, it seems a lot of ppl would love the chance to take over for me but dont have the money right now. If you are really serious about that, then PM me and we can work out some sort of payment plan, I'm hoping to get the cash ASAP cause i do have some debts to pay and I have a few things i need to buy in preperation for my trip but i am willing to make a small comprimise if you are indeed serious.

No one is fighting in here... we are all ae86 fans and thanks for comming to enjoy my 86... if it can give pleasure to some people then i feel my job is done. I turn a lot of heads (heads of ppl who matter, not people in camry's next to me or police), but silvia owners always look, people at autobarn come out and gawk, and commodores at maccas stare as i give the engine some revs Smile (not that commodore owners matter but u get my point im sure). I'm not tooting my own horn, but it has been my passion to make this car an inspiration to anyone who looks at it, and i have tkaen great care in doing the JDM mods once and doing them right. No cheap shit here... this is all geniuene jdm parts and work (I SPREAK RIKE RHIS, jk)

Genkin... the car is perfectly driveable... allthough im not 100% sure on a tirp back to adelaide... for two reasons...
1. Suspended Rego (I wasn't defected or had police trouble, i can go into why in detail if you want me too)
2. Guards need rolling... This isn't a major issue, but i dunno, it's not my ideal 8 hour car ride Smiley =

Thanks agian to everyone... It's now on carsales priced at 9999 and i've had some enquires and test drives... Any toymodder gets a 999 discount on the car, because i really want to see this car finished, i really want to see it go to a like minded tuner, i want to see it drift, i want to see it race, i want to stare at it... if i'm not driving it... then i will still be mind blown when i see it...

i shake my head everytime i go outside cause i'm selling it... i realised jsut recenetly what this car means to me... i pray the next owner will love her just as much as i do...
