Where is a good place to start looking for a brand new set of 3.9 diff gears? Around Brisbane would be preferred but anywhere will be considered.

I spent sometime phoning around 'diff specialists' and 4WD places trying to get some over here. I even tried genuine Toyota!

The best I could get was a 4.3:1 ratio from nearly all places. One place could get me a 3.56:1 ratio at a cost of $760 (just the gears)!

You maybe better off trying second hand as they seem hard to get aftermarket.

Yup, second-hand is the go. G series diffs are pretty tough so second-hand gears are usually in pretty good shape.

I think some MkIII Supra's came with 3.9 gears.

Motive Gear Performance in Somerton Victoria.
3.9:1 G series gears were $350 brand new.
By the way, they know nothing about G series or F series - just ask for Hilux gears.

They do 3.5:1 for $390.
