Awesome looking car and great to see us Aussies getting another Turbo-A Smile

Did you fit the following items aftermarket ? as Turbo-As never had the listed as standard items

TRD Intercooler :
They did have a larger cooler and puping but a Toyota item

TRD Limited Slip Diff :
Clutch pack Toyota LSD as per standard MA70

Larger injectors :
They ran standard 440cc injectors

TRD Cams :
They had the latter model MA70 cams but nothing special to the A

I did not fit the TRD parts myself, neither have I thought to check the part numbers. Any pointers as to how I can do a quick check?

The intercooler is bigger than standard, the limited diff supposedly has longer leges than the standard MA70 so I was led to believe that it was a TRD, The injectors, well they keep the A/F ratios in the safe zone for 1.3 bar so I assumed that that would be bigger than standard & the sweet engine note that it puts out would make me believe that the CAMS are a little lumpier than standard...

& thanks for the compliment!

It looks as though I need to update the ad... apologies all wasn't meant to mislead anyone.

hate to tell you
the A had 550cc injectors
and a torson diff which was a taller diff ratio
ic is the same size as a jza70 but with the inlet and outlet on the same side.

by the way nice looking car. good fun car tho drive. who ever bys this will have a lot of fun.

Cheers Sleeka, it has always been a blast to drive, definitely sticks you to your seat...

Boris, I'm in Sydney & have a few pics and movies if you want, but they are before the respray. Will get some this weekend, or this week if I have a chance...

Although it appears that I have some more to add to my ad, you won't believe how bad a day I am having... has anyone had to claim against a panel beater before? Why you might ask, well the car has come back from the respray with a "knocking noise", I have no idea what they did to it but have just been informed that it's a big end bearing problem. Supposedly it's a $800 job to change the bearings but I can understand that for piece of mind I am going to have to take more than this off the price...

Therefore the price is $18,000 if I pay for a basic rebuild, however if someone is interested in buying it & for peace of mind rebuilding it themselves, let the negotiating begin...

That sucks to hear mate Evil or Very Mad

Damn 7Ms and there rod knock , run a 7M slighty low on oil and they will get rod knock very easily

Most people run over full with oil to try and prevent this problem or mod the oiling system.
