Ogura Clutch 409D-02T Mon, 28 November 2005 12:16 Go to next message
Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has fitted this clutch to their R154 transmission. I have fitted one to my JZX100 and all is REALLY good, except for one thing. It rattles like hell when I depress the clutch at idle and when I start the car. Any ideas? MY mechanic insists that these clutches making noises is normal.

Yeah its a real clutch but this noise is just too weird for me Confused

It sounds like the clutch plate itself is moving around. It makes a similar noise to as if you spin a metal plate of a stick, but the hole is slightly too big and the plate slips on the stick Confused if that makes sense ?
