TA22 Engine restrictions for QLD Tue, 29 November 2005 08:20 Go to next message
Hey all

I've got a ta22 celica and I'm looking at doing an engine conversion. I would like to know what is the maximum capacity for an engine i could legally fit in Queensland?

Or if you have any websites that could help me out, any would be appreciated.

Beno

Vehicle mass x 3 = max allowed capacity (in cc).

For a forced induction engine, the multiplier is 2.5.

Note the vehicle mass refers to the car's original listed weight, not whatever it happens to weigh now.
