quick & easy one - what car should I grab an unleaded fuel filler for my ma61 out of? bolt-in would be REALLY nice, as I'm on a very tight time-line (before engineering friday!)

Is it required?

Nathan didn't have to get one for his.
That said, my Soarer got one when it was complied.

Any Toyota from late 85 will have it, but I think my Soarers one is welded in.

Just move to WA where they don't give a shit about your fuel filler and you don't get bent over for insurance Razz

The problem with WA is they dont care about a lot of things. So you end up being surrounded by scumbags.

Find another engineer. An unleaded filler neck is absolutely pointless these days, and it makes you wonder about the guy if he's so concerned about something that makes no sense. When I got my car engineered 2 years ago this wasn't even mentioned.

the attraction of my current engineer is that he doesn't require a full emissions test for the 1j... but if anyone in syd can recommend another engineer I'm all ears (as this guy also won't pass the 1j with a boxed pod filter unless I get the full emissions test done).
