Can anyone tell me exactly how to check gear ratios? I've got two supra boxes and I'm trying to work out if one of them is a W57. This was my method so far,
21 Spline out-put shaft,
3rd gear, 1 turn of the input = 15 splines at output shaft
That's pretty much the only way to do it, short of pulling the box apart and counting teeth. If you turn the input shaft ten times you'll get a more accurate result though.
