***Official AE86 Weekend details*** Mon, 05 December 2005 07:10 Go to next message
Ok Guys,

Due to the amount of piss farting and the collapse of Toffee Garage in the recent weeks, here are some details about the events that will occur this weekend.

Saturday 10 December THIS year.

10am

Brimbank Park Melways reference 15 A10 (same joint as last year)

We will keep the same theme as last year with a BBQ lunch for all.

We will then procrastinate as we all seem to be able to do so well for a couple of hours.

At approximately 1:30pm we will round up everyone and have a cruise up to Calder park where we will all pay our $25 for a weekend pass and go and watch all these fooly sik drifters do their thing.

I will get to the park early and try to establish a good carpark for us such as what was used last year. I will also put up signage to direct you all to the correct area.

Please bring your own BBQ food, supplies, sauces, drinks etc. etc......Get together with a few dudes and organise things between yourselves.

If you dont bring your own stuff you will be required to impersonate a seagull and we will, out of the goodness of our own hearts, throw food at you.

Anyone who wants to give me a hand please let me know.

Thanks guys

Jezza

Sounds like a good plan. Glad someone has actually made a decision and done it. Last year was fun. Afraid I won't be making it out there this year.

Weekend passes are $35 too. Link.

Alrighty, this year as with last year Jezza and I (this time without Henn and the choob from chookhouse chooning Razz) will sort out the bbq location and make some funky signs perhaps out of something more exciting than an old oil container this year.

Awaiting schedule from full lock, hopefully we can still catch the qualifyin runs in the arvo on sat.

Hope to see a good turn out of you melbourne folk, i have to travel nearly 100kms to get there so you guys have no excuse not to come also.

Cheers

Judging from previous events, both Sat and Sun will run from around 9-5. Qualifying usually starts about 2 or a shade earlier. Expression session runs for the last half hour or so we are on track and is often the best for spectators.
