1988 mx73 Cressida, 7mgte conversion. Engine has HKS 1.2mm MHG and was purchased from Stomps (member of Toymods).

- Late 7mgte motor
- 3" Stainless dump pipe and piping down to near cat
- FMIC, total size 680mmx300mmx75mm
- 3" Intercooler piping (yeah, overkill)
- Aftermarket Electrical Oil Pressure gauge/Boost Gauge
- Modified mx83 Tailshaft

Interior:
- Clarion DVD player/FM tuner (seperate head units)
- 2 amps and Pioneer 10" Sub built into spare tyre well

Body:
Above average condition, resprayed Green. Rear bar sagging but I have another in perfect condition in the shed that comes with it.

Things to do still:

The 3" exhaust goes down to near the cat.. needs rest to be made up

1 piece of intercooler piping needs to be fixed (too low and it is rubber.. was just a temporary replacement).

Auto needs to be replaced. It is drivable but only 1st and 2nd work.

hey, just leting you know, this used to be my motor, i never had any problems with it and it does have a 1.2mm steel gasket.

my car made 240rwhp on 8psi, with just a 3 inch exhaust and no further mods, engine was never run over 10psi. its a strong motor and the only reason i sold it was coz i got a frontcut and did a complete engine change and manual conversion..

good luck with the sale man, would be very interested in pics of what the final product looks like..

Well, it isn't really for sale anymore as I got it running (1 wire going to the ecu wasn't getting 12v).
Yeah Stomps, boosting to 9psi atm and it feels like over 200kw. Will get it dyno'ed once the exhaust and auto are fixed.Shocked

I may still be interested in selling it though, issues that still need to be fixed are:

- 3" exhaust is done to where the standard cat is. Need to get cat-back exhaust made up

- That 1 intercooler pipe that hangs low has to be fixed

- Auto is rooted. Can test drive it but only goes into 1st and 2nd gear. If you are doing a manual conversion then it is no problem. I am getting a new auto around christmas (car just sitting in carport atm).

Will sell it for $4000 as is. It is registered till mid-june '06 now (but not engineered).

I will try and get some pics up in the next day or two.

EDIT: $4000 as is with those issues not being fixed... with the exhaust and auto fixed (and "manualised" button shifter added), it will be more like $4700.

good to hear the car is running, yeah i told you the auto was a bit fucked, didnt remember it being that dodgy though. post some pics of the car, would love to see what it worked out like..

the engine is good for a fair bit of power, good luck with it and enjoy

Haha yeah, I thought it would be ok to chuck in and drive for a couple of months but nah, it is totally rooted. No big deal though.

Waiting for my wife to email me pics of the car as I am out of the city atm.

Engine bay and intercooler. If you look below the intercooler, you can see the dodgy rubber pipe that has to be fixed.

The paint is above average. It looks really bad in the intercooler pic but it isn't.
