Successfully had a Lukey exhaust header (for a Camry) installed in my RAV4 today.
So now it goes like this: header > flex pipe > high flow cat > hot dog 1 > hot dog 2 > muffler.
Engine is less laggy under 3000 rpm and mid range and top end punch are much improved. The addition of the 2nd hot dog has all but eliminated the slight fart noise i used to get from the cat back system at certain revs and the exhaust note is much beefier.
Will be flooring it all week so i'll reset the ECU and see what sort of fuel economy gains i get from next week.
Thanks mate. That's a 3S-FE engine in the RAV4. The whole system had to be custom made as the original RAV4 header has the cat attached to it (sits vertically next to the thermo fans). The whole system cost me about $900.
