Cressida MX83 rear springs to level ride height Mon, 12 December 2005 01:37 Go to next message
Hi.the ugly large clearance gap at the rear of these cars annoy many owners including me.

AJPS has kindly organised a specific spring set for the rear of the MX83 with the goal of bringing the rear body to wheel gap close to matching the front for appearance while staying as close as possible to the stock [soft] ride.

Once trialled and confirmed to do what is required it will be available on Toymods and toyotacressida.net as a mini group buy setup.

We would like 5 orders to allow a sell price of $150 a set [plus post]

The springs will be progressive.[soft ride initially and progressively firming up as you approach full travel]

This is not a performance upgrade although it wont detract from performance in fact lowering the rear approx 25mm or 1 inch at the rear.Again - the goal is to improve appearance and retain the stock ride comfort as far as possible.

I will post results of fitting\testing here.please save your questions until we can post results as the results may contain the answers you require.

Thanks and Merry Xmas.Drive safe and gaurd your licence points over the "silly season" Cheers.Pete. Smile
