ae82 cluster - yellow and green wires? Mon, 12 December 2005 22:16 Go to next message
Greetings,

I'm in a bit of a pickle trying to fit a new cluster to my brothers twinky. The previous owner did away with the main bulbs that light up speedo and tacho, and didnot have the yellow and green wire in use that sits under the screws behind the tacho area.

My suspicion is this yellow and green wire has something to do with powering the main bulbs. If this is the case, where should they be connected??

Any help much appreciated!!!

IIRC yellow and green are the colours on the wires used for the door light

yep. I concur.
I've been messing around with my cluster a lot lately so my memory is fairly fresh.

Are you referring to the 2 single wires that connect directly to the tracks of the instrument cluster thingy at the back? They should join in a little black plug. Problem is there is nothing to connect the black plug to??
