Funny thing happened last saturday night. We arrived late at the Maccas, and wondered where everyone was. So I rang Karl and he said that it was next weekend!
So we went to the drive-ins anyway. ... Probably will still come this saturday night too.

One of my mates smuggled another mate in in the boot (climbed through after the lights went out).

Hi guys, final confirmation for the drive in this saturday night:
* FIELD 1: -Maid In Manhatten
-Eye Spy
* FIELD 2: JACKASS the Movie and
The Tuxedo
All TOYMODS members at student prices $10ea.
Movies start at 8:30pm, gates open at 7:30pm.
We will be meeting at Blacktown Macca's (CNR Sunnyholt Rd & Third Ave), Blacktown at 6:30pm. That gives heaps of time for food etc. I'll be strolling down to Quizno's for awesome 14inches of Gourmet Sub and hot chips.
We will be leaving Macca's at 7:15pm to make our way down to the Drive-In to secure the best spot together.
You can purchase hot food at the drive-ins at movie prices aswell.
e.g. Burgers, hot chips, cinnamon donuts etc.
Hope to see you all there.

Out of interest, does anyone know what frequency they broadcast the audio on? I remember I wasn't able to pick up the broadcast at the Bass Hill drive-in yonks ago 'cos my deck couldn't tune to any 0.5 frequencies...  Man it sucked having to listen through that crappy little speaker!!!
Might have to pull the deck out and do some tinkering this week some time..

I'm definitely in!! Haven't been to those drive-in's for years. Field #2 is gonna be so packed-out that I think Field #1 will be abandonned. Just be prepared for a HUGE queue outside the gates before we get in...
This will be a great chance to catch up with you guys (for those of you who remember me from the Weight-Watcher's meet, seems like a LONG time ago), as most people here I haven't met before. Will be a nice night to give the RAV4 a stroll in the park. Anyone with issues about getting in unnoticed, just jump in the back of my 2-seater RAV.
More mods to it coming up in the next couple of months...

If anyone lives in the hills district, they send out a flyer every couple of months with discount vouchers. The last one has a voucher that leat a car full in for $17. Not bad for 4 people watching 2 movies.
