KE70 Diff Mon, 03 March 2003 21:59 Go to next message
I've posted this before, but now there is a somewhat more urgent need...(The current diff is "telling" me it's not long for this world... Confused )

So, if anyone has a good KE70 diff (pref. drum-drum), give me a yell...I'm in the ACT BTW.

Basically it comes down to 2 things:
1) Condition; if it is in excellent nick (ie. no noise) I'll take it...Last one, bought from a wrecker, was noisier than the one it replaced and their "30-day" warranty had expired. (As a side note, if you're in the ACT and are looking for parts, PM me and I'll give you an idea of at least one wrecker to avoid Twisted Evil - That's for the wrecker in question...)
2) Cost to get it here - as that needs to be factored into what I pay for the thing.

O.K, you're in Newcastle...
One obvious question I should ask; is your diff out of a sedan, wagon or Panel Van?
I think the Panel Van is different to the other two...but basically I need the sedan variant.
BTW. I'll check freight pricing today or tommorrow.

Re: KE70 Diff Tue, 25 March 2003 07:22 Go to previous message
Hmmm...O.K, I have been liaising with a bloke about his diff for a couple of weeks now, and we'd agreed on a price ($100 delivered here to Canberra). I mentioned that, due to a previously mentioned saga involving the purchase of an alarm (not by me; see the thread on "dodgy people"), that I wanted to try and work out a way that I could get the diff, while this bloke got his money...to date, I haven't heard from him, and so must now list him officially "MIA" (Missing In Action).
The upshot of this is that those others who replied and had good-condition KE70 sedan diffs (FLY PSI springs to mind here), may now feel free to "jump in" with their wares...chiefly because I'm worried the current diff may not see out the week!

So, lets revive this thread, because my diff definately needs it!!! Smile
