Well, it looks like (fingers crossed) I will finally have the Conversion happening very soon, so I will be offering the old motor / gearbox etc from my MX83 Cressida Grande up for sale.
It runs fine and doesn't blow any smoke, returns good fuel economy and the head gasket is fine. The previous one owner was an old bloke who had it regulary serviced, and the timing belt was replaced at 180,000kms - it's now got 197,000kms
At the moment - It is still fitted, so you can see, hear, smell and feel it running, and I will get the car onto a dyno for a power figure, along with a Compression test before it gets taken out. All going well, the motor will be available in approx 4-6 weeks.
Along with the Engine/ECU/Gearbox, I will also include the other bits and pieces that I won't be using in the conversion, not 100% sure, but likley to include AFM, Pwr Steer, Air Con pump, Radiator, Cruise control, ABS brakes, Rotors, Calipers, Struts etc etc etc.
