ok,
clearing out all the old racing gear...
first up is the actual bike.
I built it about a year ago as a bit of a project, but alas, have never ridden it. As you can see, the majority of gear is Brand New! If a part is not a new item, its in excellent condition as no rubbish went into this build. The bike has seen practically NO riding (dammit) and is essentially Brand New.
- Planet-X Jack Flash 7005 gusseted Slalom Frame w/ WWII aircraft camouflage paint. Brand New condition.
- RST XXL dual crown 5"-7" inverted, dual coil, adjustable open oil bath forks, excellent condition. (Have spare parts)
-Hayes 8" front disc brake with Hugi 20mm hub
-Mavic 321 front rim w/ DT spokes
-IRC Kujo 2.35" Tyres front/rear, Brand New
-Roox Bomber 4.0 DH bars
-Azonic Shorty 55mm CNC'd stem, Brand New
-WTB headset, Brand New
-Magura Hydraulic Rear Brake w/ new line and fittings
-Yeti/ODI lock grip grips, Brand New
-FSA forged cranks 175mm w/ 42T chainring, Brand New
-V12 pedals, Brand New
-Mr Dirt and Kore hybrid chain device + tensioner
-Shimano Ultegra short cage rear derailleur 9speed, Brand New
-Shimano Silent Clutch rear hub + 9speed cluster, Brand New
-New 9speed chain (forget brand/model)
-Deore 9speed RF shifter, Brand New
-Azonic Kevlar Saddle w/ replaceable rails, Brand New
-Titec Post, Brand New
just in case you think you might know someone who may want to buy it, you can download a copy of the 'for sale' ad here (hell, put it up on the noticeboard at work if you want to do me a real big favour) ...

How much of a hurry u in to sell??
I was into MTB bout 4-5 years ago......used to do Blue Mountains runs every Saturday (Oakes fire trail and old quarry at Katoomba go off!).
Ive been toying with the idea of a new bike for a while now.....something to get me fit again, and to muck around on.....

the road derailleur cage is *much* shorter (they dont have as wide a gear spread as a MTB) - makes them a good upgrade for use on a race bike so you dont hit it on anything in the middle of a run.

-top of the seat tube is 15.5"
-top tube, centre to centre is 22"
-wheelbase is 43"
its low and long basically very fast and very stable...
-according to the bathroom scales 14kg (forks are heavy - full of oil) i also have some single crown 20mm axle, 110mm alfalfas for sale to fit it, should lop some serious weight off it...
-pedals...err not too sure, i can have a dig around, but theyll just be more platforms (nd these are v12's anyway, no point downgrading), no spd's im afraid...
-not in a huge hurry to sell, but i do want to sell it. ive made up my mind, and she must leave!
cheers
