Hydro fan question-jza70

Hi-I've swapped a 1j into a us spec mk3 supra. I went ahead and swapped over all the hydrolic fan setup as well. I wired in the sesnor from the radiator to the fan ecu, but the fan only seems to run full blast all times. I had to use the ma70 wiring for the air conditioning compressor-it is just a simple one wire type of connector, but the connector on the 1j compressor was muitiple wires-I'm wondering if the hydro fan ecu recieves a signal from the AC to turn the fan on high, and since it's not getting this signal maybe it goes in a failsafe mode keeping the fan on high all the time. Any input is welcomed-Thanks
