I see the thread on the "Nationals" and other events - anyone with pix/story for upcoming or recent events please post to
webmaster@toyotatuner.net
So I can hype th Aus toymods scene!
Yah, ok - only on the third issue, and only getting less than 100 hits/day....
But I can't be *there* to cover the events, anyone feel like being a "Contributing Editor" or such?

Hey man...
Whenever on a cruise, I always have my camera with me and take heaps of pics... I would like to be a contributing editor to the magazine... It'll be something different to do...
The only thing is that I'm not much of a writer... But I would be happy to take pictures for the magazine/web site...
When you say recent events, how "recent" do you mean??? I have pics from Dyno Day 6 which was the one that just passed...
There is a cruise to Wollongong on Sunday and I'll be taking heaps of pics... I'll send them to you as soon as I load them up on my computer...

KO - here's my thought - you go, take pix, and remember I'm lookin to promote the Toy life, not *just* Celi's Supra's and Rollas...heh
If you could even point-form some details about any car/truck that stands out, and/or highlight the day (event, happenings, cool stuff) I can make "story" out of it!
Dyno day would be good, as well as any cruises or Toyota events - by 'recent' I'm posting *monthly* updates, so you can do the math. heh.
And this site is designed to be *global*, so I have someone sending me Ontario, Canada, Mr2 Club info as well - I'm hoping to hook up some European stuff too! (yeah, USA too...)
The plan is to get the news *out* - if it gets too big, I'll design a map page - choose your area for event listing and coverage....
Sound good?

Sounds all teh goods mate...
So you want me to take pics of all the nice lookin cars, not just the Toyotas in other words...
And take notes of the cars like motor and any distinguishing features you mean???

I meant trux and such - Hilux (?) i think y'all call them there? Landcrushers..etc. Want to keep open mind, not just lowered street cars.
I suppose that would include cool-lookin ancient ones too... like Crowns and stuff.
Since I'm hosting here, the only limit is b'width (more coming) and HD space (also coming with $$ I get ) so I got a few hunnert Meg left on the HD still...hehe
I really appreciate someone adding to this Mag! Someday we will have a budget - *then* you'll find ME at the Nats there! eheh

Whatever YOU think looks good. hehe
If they *really* suck, welll....
But if you take pix like the one in yer Avatar (is that yours?) then all should be good!
Like contrast/lighting/framing/etc.
I can edit pix and text here, so it doesn't have to be "perfect" just what *you* would like to see...see..?

Ahhh, k... All Toyotas are the go... Yeah dude, they're called Hilux's (lowluxes) and Landcruisers over here...
No worries about the pics... Yeah, my alvatar is my Corolla... Just dumped using photoshop...
The next event is the cruise on this Sunday so I'll charge the batteries and head down and get some nice pics for you and me... I'll also get some pics of the action and the people, not just the cars...
Should I just send the pics straight to webmaster@toyotatuner.net???

It happens. I'll wait - got other stuff starting (just starting) to happen. hehe
And kerr - One of my local boys has a wicked LandCrusher - everyone else tries to keep up with him!
He got stuck, once, and a farmer's *tractor* had trouble getting in to where he'd gotten.. lmao!
Now he's got 35's and a full fiber tub, opened up teh I6 a lil and he's waiting till he gets it painted before he'll let me post it up in the TRUK section. lol.
I'm not kidding. coolass truck!

I'm posting the non-link (placeholder) for march today.
Now it's getting to the point where the site content is busy enough, I need to work on layout and GFX design. lol.
I'll pre-up a page for highlights from shows in general, and then *that* page can link to any page FOR the show.. know what I mean?
Jeez. I get another job I'm going to have to try to work more than a month ahead on these - at least until there's more "staff" lol!

Actually maybe 3 or 4. Matt has been a huge help, as has NArk, though with NArk involved in Toymods as much as he is, I try not to lean on him so much!
If you want to be a regular help - it would be greatly appreciated!
Any email to webmaster or freak@toyotatuner.net come to me, and might be an easier method of getting my attention. lol.

Heya guys,
Just offering my services I know a fair bit of html(if you want a hand with the page), I also do Macromedia Flash Movies/Animations and I have Photoshop so I can touch up images and save them as a web obitmised jpg(which has a small file size) for minimal loss of quality. Anyway let us know if I can be of any assitance.

I took some time to float this last bit
relationship stress and a lost job got my brain busy
so for April, I will try to cover (decently) whatever shows were 'cool' you know?
We just had ONE show here this month, and it sucked - I'm gonna blast the organizer.
Your pix and help are appreciated! I can't promist to put up ALL the pix, but we'll see! And if you feel like doing a writeup on the show (the people, the cars, the atmosphere, good vs bad etc) I'l try to include it!
