removing 4AGE valve stem seals....How??	Tue, 18 February 2003 11:59

I need to replace the valve stem seals in my 4AGE head. I have the valve springs out, but need to know the best way to remove the old valve stem seals without damaging the valve stem or guide. Is there a tool for this? I'm sure my urge to tackle it with the longnose pliers is not a good idea.. Thanks in advance Phil [Report message to a moderator]

You can bye a proper tool for this , There like a set of long nose pliers with 2 half circles that grip onto the stem seal ( Snap On make a set ) Trevor [Report message to a moderator]

I just used longnose pliers - Just grab on the outside of the seal and it should come out without too much problem.. [Report message to a moderator]
