Ta Jase, yeah it all started out with, hmm, the clutch master cylinder is leaking, better fix that, and, it kinda went on from there (as well as the quest for a bit more power...)

Haha, lookin' good!
I found doing my engine bay was the best bit. So many little bits too fix up that you don't have to be really particular about. Then you gotta put your engine & everything back in & cover up half of your hard work!
I hope the motors getting a nice detail before it goes back in?

BTW, have you ah, sent the goods yet? Rolling Eyes

Quick question what did you do about your brake and fuel lines that run under the car? I am getting my engine bay sandbalsted and I aint sure whether I have to remove them, if so whats the best way of going about it?

damo, if you look in the first pic the fuel lines are still there just masked up!

the brake lines i undid and removed completely. besides they need cleaning and coat of clear before they go back in.

i've also masked the tower bearings and removed the rubber/butyl-mastic/whatever the fuck it is that the guards sit on - heap of rust ground out up there...

that garage doesn't look too well ventillated .. I'm never ever trying spray-painting in an enclosed space again without a tank of compressed oxygen and a full faced mask

its a low pressure gun that came with my air compressor...

draven, its not...but when both back and front doors are open, it thus becomes well ventilated.

Looking good Greg.
I've got a whole heap of photo's in my camera of my baby, unfortunatly I can't post them up here.
I'll try and finish the film off by Sunday.
I'm leaving the engine in mine. The engine bay is black so it won't look too bad with blue. I'm just going to get the body up to scratch, actually more than that. I'm going to do it all properly.

only problem i'm finding is how to get the gun around the back of the towers without getting massive amounts of overspray. quite difficult.

i think i need to adjust the fan and have a thinner mix, i did some wet sanding tonite, if weather is good tommorrow i'll be hitting it again
