Joel came out to buy it but found it wasn't a W58 as it had an alloy sandwitch plate.
So now selling W55 (or 57?) gearbox.
No idea how much these are worth??

i got a w57 in my sprinter
it has a cast iron sandwich plate
so i'm guessing that the box u have isnt a w57
only difference between 57/58 is that the 57 is a slighty lower ratio 5th gear

The box is at my GF's Dad's house. All I know is that Joel went to buy it, and came back and said that it had a alloy sandwich plate.
So by the sounds of it, its a W55 box.
Who wants it?

I went there with Joel.
After considering what I looked at, I am unsure if it is even a W55, as the sandwich plate looks too thin. Could be just me though.
