[16:55] (Royal-T): We bore the fuel inlet to make more fuel come in

[16:56] (Royal-T): Then we modified the carbs to make the 2nd carb butterfly open earlier
[16:56] (mkd162): ahh you changed the factory carb over
[16:56] (Royal-T): just a few cheap tricks that gives it a 30% increase
[16:57] (mkd162): yeah but the carbs are expensive to buy
[16:57] (Royal-T): still kept the factoruy carb, just added a spring for the butterfly of the 2nd carb
[16:57] (mkd162): what were they, side drafts, webers, FCR Carburetors?

[16:58] (mkd162): i thought they were single carb.. my dad has one
[16:58] (mkd162): you probably have the newer model

[16:58] (Royal-T): they are factory single carb but the 2nd carb never opens
[16:58] (mkd162): im thinking going carb on my corolla

[16:59] (Royal-T): All you need is a spring to open up the second carb at the same time as the first carb opens

hehe i know someone like that. last bit of bullshit he spun was there was a 2 litre turbo engine that would just 'bolt' into his ke 55 corolla. we usually just go ah huh and laugh behind his back but when we are feeling mean we make him look like a fool.
