I tried to replace my oil pressure sender and you can guess what happened. Everything that can go wrong did go wrong. First, sender was seriously stuck and i gave it some muscle and it broke (of course). The threaded part is still in - fuck. So, into sierra (fuckfuck) and pedal to the metal (yeah right). I went so fast as i can which was about 70-75km/h (hey it's a ford) to the työkalu tori which is local tool mart here. Well I got there just in time and managed to buy bolt extractor kit. You may guess that that fuckin extractor did go in two so it was there to. What could go wrong anymore? this for example I started to drill that sucker out. I have to use small drill bit cos' that freaking bolt extractor was there and you know that small drill bits broke easily like that one what I was using. So, now I have drill bit in oil channel (fuckfuckfuck), how in hell do i get it out??? How in hell do I get the threaded part of oil pressure sender out??? Is that sender unit in 3T, before oil filter???
In the mean time I keep hitting my head onto wall.

i had a brass fitting snapped off in my oil sender hole. exstraction doobies didnt work, so i ended up drilling it to the closest size of the thread. then used a small (very small) flat blade screwdriver to get the bit of brass thread out of the block's thread. turned the car over a bit to get some oil pumping so it cleaned out any metal fillings i may of had in there (and yes it made a oily mess )
all is well now.
and yes i agree, it is head banging stuff...

OK new day, new tricks. After sleepless night I take and go fight with that sender unit. I think only way to remove that unit is to machine it out with dremel. I hope that I dont ruin the threads completely and I dont ruin my dremel or the bits that i have for it by hitting that (hardenned) bolt extractor. I hope that drill bit comes out from there some how...
Yep! its a 3T. So is the sender unit before or after oli filter? And I have already turned the car over a bit to get some oil pumping so it cleaned out any metal fillings and obviously Im gona turn it much more...
Wish me luck...
