You guys know any processes or software that I can record an audio file from an mpeg of the supra on the dyno?
I gotta post it, sounds like a jet aircraft!

Norbie,
Sorry to detract from the thread a little bit, but how do you attach the starter motor to engine without the gearbox and stuff. Can you just bolt it to the engine? I'd like to drop in the 1GGTE into the car while the clutch and gearbox are off, and start it so I can not make them wait too long with my warranty.
If anyone else can answer I'd be most grateful

I used the flex plate from the auto transmission (ie sort of like a flywheel, but no weight in it). You need a ring gear of some description if you want to start your engine.

This was around my neighbourhood which is infested with piggies. Didn't want to risk getting caught.
I opened it up a couple of times, but yeah, not much chance to.

Wait till you hear this one!!!
There's two files, one on the street driving by and the other on Hornsby Prestiege's Dyno when I had my small intercooler and stock manifold without the external wastegate to atmosphere. Now is absolutley absurdly loud!

I recorded my sounds by attaching a mic to my MD walkman. Had to sit the mic on the passenger seat wrapped in a jumper to keep it from rubbing against things though.
I'm planning on making a mount for my camera. That way I can get some vids.
