 Cams in a 103Kw 3S-GE

Hey all, i have a stock rebuilt 3SGE 103Kw in my ST162
and was wondering about Cams that would run with my stock computer yet make more power...
could anyone put a price figure on it and a kw possibly...

you could probably go as wild as 272deg duration cams and increase lift by about 1mm without modifying anything else on your engine or computer... this would produce heaps more power up high in the revs, but remember that you will loose a lot of torque and power down low in the rev range...

yea, my brother had pretty good cams in his 2TG-E and it was running stock computer.
How much would they cost? and could u put a power figure on em?
i currently have 103kw.

sorry, can't say, i haven't had any experience with this... all i could tell you is how the engine characteristics change by installing "bigger" cams... as for cost, well that all depends again what you choose... can start at about $300 for a pair of regrinds up to anywhere around $800 each for something like TODA, or HKS

Fuel economy would be worse.. But your not putting huge cams into it.. so it wouldnt be that bad..
Not like your putting a 3sgte in runnning 20psi.. That would chew a bit of juice..
