Project 2JZ - an update Thu, 13 June 2002 11:16 Go to next message
I've just finished an update of my web site, including the complete MA61 -> 2JZ-GTE engine swap story to date. I have a bunch of pics from last weekend when the engine was permanently bolted into the engine bay, finally!

you also gotta try and squeeze a fan or 2 in there! Hrms ... that's what I'm goin to have to go thru wth my conversion, almost exactly (without the problem of a big front mount.... yet)

Are you going to be at the next monthly meeting norbie? I'd love to have a chat about what you had to go through to get that thing in there Smile

Wilbo: about 10 years. Wink

Rob: thanks, I'm going to need it!

Draven: engine fan is going to be a problem. I'm hoping I can find a super-thin electric fan that I can squeeze behind the radiator somehow, but there's not much space to play with.

If you tell me which meeting you're talking about, I'll tell you if I'll be there! Smile

look into fans from refrigaration units or go and see someone that fixers or makes that sort of thing.I got one years ago that was pretty thin.It is in my shed now so I can measure if you want and give you an idea over the weekend. It's a 10" fan but I'll get back to you on the rest
