original tyres for MA61?????

Curious as to what tyres where originaly fitted to MK II supras??
My spare looks like it has never been used and has a dunlop sport D3 tyre on it.is this original??.......Also i`m running 215 tyres on the front and i`m having probs with the tyre hitting the bottom LHS flare....anyone else had probs and what size tyres are you using on the front?

Looks pretty spot on.
You will have have to source other types as that tyre is discontinued.
225/60/14 is the stock tyre. Not many makes available.

Are you running stock rims? My friend has 235's on the front of his and its not rubbing.

man 235 were stock as frank said...all round and no hint whatsovere of rubbing...in any driving situation.

yeah i`m running stock rims........i was told dunlop made tyres especially for these cars......anyone shed any light??

Hmm, I didn't say that! They ran 225/60R14's all round stock!
Umm, I cant really see any issues with them rubbing at only 215... is anything broken or out of kilter possibly?

You're not trying hard enough if thats the lowest price you can find, try to find some Hankook Super Dynamics! They are SO old school, and have the white writing on the sides.
Mate paid $120 each for 235/60R14's.

perhaps i priced wrong tho...i cant remember really...i only had to replace one cos i got credit on a goodyear that caught a blister under warranty.

The supra i'm trying to buy has 235\60\R14's on the front and 265(maybe 255)\60\R14's on the rear
looks real nice
took it for a drive and no scrubbing at all

I've got 205's on mine, but that's what the wheels came with when i bought them. i'm pretty sure they're 205's, i'll have a look when i can be stuffed.
