dude, you can make your own braided lines (zoom 55 showed how to do this)
re: DBA - they make rotors - have had PLENTY of them over the years and they're fine, never had any issues...

If you go for the DBA rotors, go for the slotted only, the cross drilled ones have been known to crack between the drill holes.
This is usually only on the heavier cars like commodores as far as i know though, so you should be ok.

Re-read my reply with regard to LEGALITY!!! They won't be legal and you'll have problems if they fail and cause an accident. They can offer all the warranty they want they're STILL NOT LEGAL!!
I'm not sure but I thought Race Brake used to be in VIC too, not that this helps is you're not down there either??? Braided lines are only small and light so if you can't find them where you are I'm sure either of the co.'s I mentioned above will ship them to you at minimal cost above the initial price.

yep. speak with howard from race brakes.
shano2 - good point - if used for braking NOT a good idea to make your own (although my mate did on his HQ racecar, but, again, NOT legal for roadgoing purposes)
racebrakes are on : (03) 9326 6088

I went to Enzed the other week and he said for them to be legal they need crimped ends not screw fit like in Zoom. Some ABS joints can make them but they will not guarantee the cops wont give you hassles. Apparantly they are changing the rules to make it easier to use them.

personally i would only use the ones Shano2 suggested.
There is a perfectly good reason for items such as this requiring stringent ADR testing and approval - they will save you or kill you! I would NOT trust anything inferior and not approved, its like taking a plane flight when the wings havent been tested!

from what i've heard from guys at work and that as braided brake lines are not legal on any car unless the car came standard with them, this reason is because with braided lines you can't see the condition of the pipes underneath there for not knowing when to be changed/replaced,
but you might be able to get away with it with an engineers certificate?
