 How much does a 22R-E cost?

I'm in the process of tying to get a 1G-GTE halfcut, but the current engine dose not look like it will last that long, cause they are getting harder to source these days.
So I'm looking at getting a 22R-E to replace my existing one in the interim. I managed to find one for $550, just need to know if this is a decent price? If anyone has a decent engine they wish to part with for a lower price I'll be be willing to consider buy it of them.

Yeah .. Only if I was looking 3 months ago 
Tech_mark had one for sale. 
Curse my bad timing... On the other hand I might be able to get my 1G in 4 weeks if everything works out so hopefully my existing engine will last that long.

Don't waste money on the 22R, get the 1G straight away... that's what I did (although I had a 2S).
Speak to John at Rolin Imports in Andrews, QLD... tell him that Leigh from Brisbane recommended you and you'll get a good price on the half cut
