ive just managed to get my hands on a set of 15inch tommy kaira rims with 205/60's on em.
i currently have the stock 13inch rims on my sprinter and when i tried the 15inch rims on, the inside of the tyre was pushing against the shocky and base of the spring so much that i could fit my fist inside the guard.
is there anything apart from spacers i could do to make these rims fit cos they look absolutely sick. also what size spacers you rekon?
Sounds like you bought the wrong rims dude. Your offset is wrong hence the need for spaces. You will have to find what offset the rims are to work out what size spacer you need. Spacers are illegal and they add more load on to the bearing.
i got 15" deep dish on rears running 205/50's
i have to drive slow over speed humps or not carry heavy loads otherwise it starts guard rubbing apart from that i got no problems at all. The wheels stick out of my guards about 0.5cm
Not sure about the offsets but if you put the details of your original tyre in and then put the details or your new tyre, or maybe the tyre you will have to get it will tell you the overall diameter of your wheels.
You might be able to get away with lower profile tyres. Might want to check with RTA regulations if your in NSW that is.
