exhaust making popping noise

hey guys when i drive my car it makes like a misfiring sound n pops each time i shift i tried shifting at low rpms still doesn't make a difference what should i do guys is this a serious issue ? ?
i drive a 4age sprinter 86kw if that helps !

your muffler is probly stuffed.should get it checked out at a exhaust joint,theyll check it for free
|

is the pop from the engine bay or from the exhaust tip?
my friend's civic si pops from the tip when u give it some gas and change gears

is it a bigger exhaust?
cos they tend to do that cos of slower exhaust gas movement, any unburnt fuel combusts and gives those little pops.
my 4age with 2inch exhaust does it too. SO did my ae82 twin cam.
Im pretty sure that is what it is

this is unburnt fuel entering the extractors causing it to make very small explosions no harms just a kool crackling noise

am i right in saying that if there is unburnt fuel entering the exhaust system.....then your valve timing is off ???
