levin seats in an SX?

Hey people,
I own a 1990 seca sx, and I was thinking about replacing the standard seats which are a bit grubby and not that supportive.
I know some of you have replaced them with seats from the levin.
So, I've got a few questions about the swap.
How hard are they to fit? I've never done any swaps like this, will I find it difficult to do?
Is it just the ae92 seats that will fit, or will the ae101 also fit without modification?
I've got a dark grey interior, will I find seats that will match this?
And finally, which import wreckers would likely have these, and how much is a reasonable price for a pair?

hey mate your best off just ringing around all the import wreckers in your area and ask them about sizes and similarities really that would be your best bet. i will look around and see if i can find anything out for you.but yeah.
on another note where you from anyways and if you do find some let me know what you doin with your old seats as i would gladly take them off your hands.

ooh, looks nice, so do you reckon they feel much better than the standard ones?
I'm still not sure whether it's worth the time and money. 
They bolt straight into the seat chassis rails, right?
Heh, sorry for all the questions, I just don't want to waste my money.....
Oh, and Mr Plow, I'll keep you in mind for my old seats if I get some new ones.

Those were $300 for the pair, and they took about 15 minutes to install, 4 bolts at the base of each seat...
I have a 2001 wrx aswell, and I like the Levin seats better than the rex seats! they have adjustable side bolster width and decent lumbar adjustment. There are 3 different types of trim they are available in, and one of the other two would probably suit the dark grey interior the best.
Ring around the jap importers to see if they have a set, the ae101 dont bolt straight into an ae92...

You didn't say where you are.
Just Japanese on the Hume Hwy at Lansvale had three sets, one of which I picked up (the set Jason has posted above) and they were $300 a pair. That was a few weeks ago now though.

Does anyone know the exact colours these came in?
Also, does anyone know if JustJap still have them for $300? Or anyone else for that matter?

I cannot contact JMS, the phone number I tried is disconnected.

Wow, nice seats there. Does anyone know what car the seats, furthest on the right in the bottom picture are from? Damn I like those You've gotta get the car engineered when you change seats dont you?

Dunno what those seats are I didn't really pay them much attention when I took the pic.
You'd probably find you would need to engineer a non standard seat but in the case of these seats where they came out in the same model car and are a bolt in swap you wouldn't have to worry about it. Best to ask an engineer though.
