As i'm building up this hilux i will need to upgrade the braking system. Thinking of putting in a 1J or an SR20 what will be the cheapest or smartest way update the brakes? Will it be easier to buy of the shelf or can I mix and match from an other model toyota? should i put discs on the back? Please help.

why not try hilux 4wd brakes, i have a 94 hilux as my family car & the brakes are huge
i dont think a 1j will fit in a hilux without some major modifications, as a few months ago my mate & i put a 1g in one, it fitted in nicely but very little room left
