Yeah i got a few pics

Its only got the stock 2T motor in it
But this car is ideal for a project....which is what i was gonna do ...

Or where u looking for one already done ?>

Anyways the body is straight all round
except for the passenger side door
but i have a passenger door in the garage ready for fitting and painting
but ive been too lazy to put it on
which i will obviously give to u
also "The TOYMAN" was selling a passenger door recently

if u want pics lemme know

Well i ran into this one last friday in the trading post.. it was luck that i found this one, im not sure if your familar with it, it was going for $900 at carina???

my advice is post a wanted TA22/23 in brisbane on this site (if u havnt already) heaps quicker than waitin for one in the trading post, (although keep looking there as well!!!!)

best of luck Cool

how much work do you think it will need to be roadworthy? and registered? what sort of cost is there to register an old celica? When i get one it will be my first car aswell so i'm sooooooo keen to get one and start doing it up.

Re: Wanted 74 TA22!!! Mon, 10 March 2003 04:03 Go to previous messageGo to next message
all it needs is 4 rust spots cut out n fixed up, n then it will be roadworthy, all panels are straight n i couldnt see any bog jobs, its still got the original paint job on it.. im not too sure on how much its gonna cost to register il keep you posted with that..

as soon as its registerd and rust free, il be dropping in a mildly worked 2TG... Very Happy

$400 now as it sits with no carbies, recent rebuild 170 psi compression on a stock 2tg engine

or when i am finished with current used 44mm solex dual carbies as i am trying to convert to EFI bit by bit without having the car off the road for too long, i will sell the 2tg with the carbs or you can buy the 2tg now with all the EFI bits for $800 (currently selling the EFI for $500 which includes custom plenum and 3tgte injectors polished fuel rail 70mm throttle body etc.)

ok, do you know when your gonna finish your efi conversion? coz then i might think about gettin the engine plus the carbys for 400, their not stock carbys aye? stock 2tg carbs run on 40s... i may have to hire a ute or trailer to get the engine home... i just have to get the cash.. it may take 2weeks or less.. can you get me pics of the engine n carbys?? lots of them.. email them to me.. il have a think about it..

thanks Cool
