"The inlet profile has more influence on the power range than the exhaust. Most of the higher performance 4 valve engines have a larger inlet than exhaust. A difference of up to 10*-12* is not unusual when using a retarded exhaust camshaft."
The reason i ask is that i just brought a 3TGTE that was suposed to be standard but when i took the cam cover off it has a HKS 256deg cam init. but the exahust cam is still the std one!
on the end that face's the firewall it has it stamped on them and also the lift, it has HKS stamped where the part no. is on the standard cam. when you rotate the cam 180deg it has 2TG/3TG stamped onit.
