I'm in Perth, 18, been insured for 3 years and have a 92 excel and that costs me $440 for third party, fire and theft.
It probably would be cheaper but apparently my insurance mob have chucked all excel's in the "high theft risk" catagory (even though its only the newer ones that get stolen alot...who would want to steel a shit-cel?)

Sounds like insurance is quite a bit more over there than it is here...even in Brisbane one of my mates is paying $250 a year for Third party fire and theft for his 91 EA falcon...so sucks to insure in Sydney by the sounds of it
