Well tonight I was racing my mates vti-r civic, was going good, I got off line better and we were even halfway through second when I all of a sudden lost power... I was like fuck, whats wrong.
Driving along it sounded exactly like a wrx, pretty funny. My initial thought was im only running 3 cylenders, man ive fucked the rings or something and lost compression in one of the cylenders, but my mate was like there's no smoke or anything.
Get home and get light out to find one of the spark leads had popped off the speak plug.....

What relief.. sounded so phat though hehe.
I really didn't want to spend the start of uni catching public transport while I did a rebuild Confused

So if you want ur GE to sound like its got a WRX engine in it, well take off one of your spark leads hehe

Just a question, could this cause any sort of problems, can't see why it would, maybe just foul up the plug or something?

Hehe, this has happened a couple of times on my car, & yeah it does sound exactly like a WRX! Smile
I don't think it's gonna do any harm, it'd prolly give that cylinder a good wash out. Razz

Yeah, if enough fuel collects in there, but I doubt it would happen, it would just get pushed/sucked out the exhaust.

That same sound happenened to my car when the Twin Cam River occured after washing the engine down for the first time... I drove it after giving it a wash and was cruising up the Roseville Bridge and all of a sudden, I sounded like a WRX... Got up the road to my mates workshop and said "WTF is that noise???" I explained to him that I had just washed it down so he took off the leads and blew the spark plug cylinders out with compressed air... Then he removed the spark plugs and blew it all out with the compressed air again... Good as new...

my car sounds pretty beasty now that i've installed my pod filter.

Just curious, how does your 4age compare to your friends VTiR? i thought those VTIR things were supposed to be fairly quick?

surprisingly pretty good
generally off the launch I get him, rwd and lighter car probably.
Through 1st and 2nd generally its even or im a little ahead, my 3rd gear is my down fall though, its too tall and don't really have much power with it. But thats past 100 anyway hehe so generally race is over by then.
But yeah in the long run he gets me with 3rd, but till then I usually get him.

Yeah man, I remember... That was a sad day as I had to drop your "trailer park trash" ass off at Liverpool with the little ho's riding the bikes around the caravan park...
