it isnt just as simple as fitting a crank

if you fit a 3t crank in the 2t block i am sure you have to machine something to make clearance, and also you have to flycut the pistons

if you use the 3t block it is very simple, apart from changing all the timing gear over you need to flycut the pistons also, this is the preferred method

if you have any more questions ask rod try (thetoyman75) he would be the expert here on this conversion

cheers a lot

i think the later 2tgeu blocks shared the same machining as the 3t block - so it can just go in - the 2t's definantly need internal machining to fit the 3t crank

Nods to wayne - Check with rod try - he's done this swap over and is a guru on 2tg modifications

I can confirm the later model 2tgeu's do fit the 3tgteu crank plus rods in, i have just done this, but the pistons are the problem.
